Autumn 2025

Paul Kiddle

By different reckonings the season of Autumn in the Northern Hemisphere starts on 1 August, 1 September, or 22 September, or by when the sun recedes behind the clouds and the temperature begins to climb back down to wards the low teens. Three out of four says we're there.

Home Sweet Homepage

With the change of season comes a change in my window dressing. Thanks to the lovely Sam I've got a fresh look for this site which I'm starting to apply. Starting with the blog pages I'll be stripping the old wallpaper, rearranging the interiors, and slapping on a new coat of paint, eventually with other rooms to follow. Against my inner perfectionist I'll be releasing these changes in dribs and drabs, so pardon the mess in the interrim and please mind your feet.

Scalarama

This month is also the month of DIY Film, praise be Scalarams Leeds. This year was my first as a participant of the amateur film-screening festival, where last week my partner and I invited thirty-three punters to watch Dr. Seuss's The 5,000 Fingers of Dr. T. (1953), a bizarre children's film involving an evil piano tutor and some enlightened fashion choices. Much thanks to the Leeds Scalarama team for buckets of advice on licensing, venues, techical operations and so on.

And So Forth

Those are the headlines, though too much has been done and too much more consumed in the past semianum I won't bore you with the minutia. Much love to ya, fare well.
